new for me

The old stove in our new apartment. I love the color…bought this teapot and didn't even plan that they matched. We had to buy a fridge for the new apartment, probably one of the most adult things I have done so far in my life. One of these fridges would have been a perfect fit!
I have been making a lot of tea lately. I am trying to fight off a cold. Or rather I am just trying to ride it out. The only good thing is even though I feel sick I have been trying to clean and pick up. Which in my world can only mean I am getting ready to paint. Getting ready to get back to those words that are bouncing around in my head.

A time for painting. How fantastic that you know that picking up means that creativity is next. I wonder what I do before I create? By the way, it sounds awful but is not, boiling garlic and ginger to make a tea, then pouring into cup and adding much honey. The garlic turns sweet and is a natural antibiotic. You will be cured very quickly. trust me. I was skeptical but was proven wrong.

If you have to have a cold, then it looks like the best place too is your kitchen, because there you can watch the kettle boil on that very gorgeous stove.
Hope you get better soon, and I’m looking forward to seeing the new paintings.
