Wenders, maybe it’s just me but I think the image takes a lot of its power from her lack of clothing. It would be offensive - and stand out from the rest of your images - if it seemed like her clothes had been taken from her or that she was in some way a victim. But the complete calm on her face amidst the roar and blowing hair - I dunno. I think it works as is.

Plus, you could simply call the painting “Bare”.

liz - for some reason I draw my girls how I would like to dress, ruffles on my underwear, cute shoes, and awesome outfits…maybe one day I’ll be ready for that.

I think this sketch is wonderful and you should keep it as is. Sometimes work doesn’t need to be taken any further and looks good in the “rough” stages.

I think this piece has so much movement and you can tell just sense the sound he is making.

so awesome Wendy… i unfortunately can’t relate about the sketching bit, not much of an artist i’m afraid… so taking that into account, i think this is so great. the roar bit is amazing and i love that she’s wearing heels.
